Thanks for returning to our site, if you have liked what you have read so far why not make someones day and share our site with others, you know what they say 'sharings caring'. If you have a blog/site yourself why not post a link to us? Gestures like this make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside and it's a way of letting us know you are there so we can return the favour.

US search results have been showing Google profiles at the bottom of the results page for searches that involve a personal name. The abbreviated information comes from Google profiles created by users and Google provides a link to the full profile. Links can also exist to allow searches for profiles on certain Web 2.0 sites, such as Linkedin, Facebook, MySpace and Classmates.

Is this a good thing, and will it happen in other countries too in due course? It’s probably a good thing, depending on how you feel about it, and yes, it will probably be available from other countries soon too. People who don’t already have a Google profile will most likely be rushing to create on. Maybe that is what it’s all about anyway…

Choosing a domain name used to be a careful cons.ideration. Then came AdSense and other types of text ads, and domains became two a penny. Whatever happened to branding? If you want to know about Coca Cola you’d probably guess at typing in www.cocacola.com. You’d be right too, though it does redirect to www.coca-cola.com with a dash in the middle. The same goes for just about any other well known product or service. So, what happened to domain name branding?

Well, it’s still alive and kicking, though you might have to wade through junk like www.buy-viagra-meds-rx-cheap-best-cheapest-cialis.info first (don’t bother trying – it isn’t a real domain). If you can brand your business or service, and enough people get to know what you do by name, it can be a lucrative source of traffic, and traffic equals money when everything is set up right.

Online video is started to really take off. This was inevitable with the increase of broadband access and the steady increase of bandwidth over the past few years. Now we seem to be at a point where the vast majority of people can really enjoy the Internet as it was supposed to be. Needless to say, this presents a golden opportunity to anyone who has the capability to put video on their own web site. The statistics include, 30 million unique viewers of online video aged over 15 years in the UK alone. That has to be good news!

Do you Twitter? It’s a growing craze, or is it? There are those who swear by Twitter as a way to network or get your message out to people who are interested in what you have to say or offer. There’s plenty of evidence that Twitter works in this respect too, but there are other figures that make the whole situation a little less obvious as well.

One thing that hasn’t really changed in the years that the World Wide Web has been up and running is that people still make web sites. Another thing that hasn’t really changed is that they still make mistakes doing it. Quite often it is small business owners trying to save money, but often they end up losing money instead.

If any of the items from the link below sounds familiar, it’s time to change. The web works great for those who do it right. You can be among that number anytime you want.
