Thanks for returning to our site, if you have liked what you have read so far why not make someones day and share our site with others, you know what they say 'sharings caring'. If you have a blog/site yourself why not post a link to us? Gestures like this make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside and it's a way of letting us know you are there so we can return the favour.

Stumbleupon is a great site for getting some extra traffic to a web site. Lots of people use Stumbleupon to provide traffic who are sometimes disappointed with the results. It’s usually a matter of not doing it right, however. Stumbleupon, when used properly can be a really great source of traffic, and there are times when it’s not the best thing to use. How can you know?

We all love the idea of throwing up a monetised web site in say, two hours flat, then getting it indexed and ranked well soon after with no effort whatsoever – not even a few links. Impossible? Not really, but you do need to know how. Yes, back links are important and in time you probably should get loads of them, but for just getting indexed with a WordPress blog, try an XML Sitemap.

What do you think of ICANN opening up the way to limitless numbers of top level domains? It isn’t a cheap option, and there’s no guarantee of getting the TLD you want, but armed with around $185,000 you can submit your TLD of your choice to ICANN and if successful, you can compete with Dot Com, the world’s most successful TLD. I’ll bet someone gets Dot Moc, and I also bet it nose dives into oblivion…

How do you feel about blog comments and their usefulness? Google doesn’t seem to like them as they recognised the nofollow tag in 2005 as a way to stop what they termed “blog spam.” Maybe they were right, but maybe they were not. Blog comment conversations can be riveting reading when they happen right. In fact, they should be encouraged to happen right.

Have you noticed a shrinkage in Google results? It’s the page that has shrunk. Well, to be honest, it’s not so much a shrinkage as a trimming, and it’s mostly in the wording that surrounds the results. Is there a reason? Who knows…

Do you have dozens or even hundreds of micro sites, all earning a little something? Many do and they are happy doing it too. However, it does cost a bit to keep going. There’s a possible answer though…

Does local search domination interest you? It should. Done properly, a business that appears organically near the top of a local search should do very well. However, not all business owners are aware of what they can do to increase their visibility online. There’s a lot they can do too.

There are SEO companies, and then there are the other SEO companies. How do you know whether or not your chosen SEO company is a good one? It can be a problem, especially if you don’t know a lot about the business. However, there is a lot you can do to choose a good SEO company. Some of it is common sense, but some of it isn’t. This article might help:

And finally… One SEO company reveals in a post on its blog how they are often asked to review a site. They report that it’s an unfortunate fact that many such requests for review are made for sites that just don’t cut the mustard. They even give a few examples of how to get the basics right.
